Using FTP:   

      Using FTP to upload and download files from your server is a fast and easy way to go. Our servers work with any FTP software.  All FTP software requires the same information in order to connect with your web hosting account.

Site Name  (whatever you want to put here is fine) ex  mysite.com

FTP address  Your ip address is your ftp address Your received this with your original hosting information after signing up.  ex      216.127.25.69            If your domain name is working then you may also use this format to connect with ftp       ex   ftp.yourdomainname.com    (change yourdomainname.com with your actual domain name.

Username  Your web hosting username

Password  Your web hosting password (same as Cpanel password)

Do not click on anonymous ftp or any other options.

Then click connect. Youll see your web hosting account files in the right window. On the left window youll see the files on your computer.  Simply highlight the files you want to move and right click. Choose upload or download depending on what your goal is.  Remember your hosting files belong in your public_html directory which you will see once you connect with FTP. The first page of your website should be named index.html in order for it to be seen as your home page.
